Annual loan limit
The Federal Student Aid Office receives, evaluates and determines your eligibility for the Direct Loan Program. According to the requirements of the U.S. Department of Education (ED). The recommended amount of student loans will be based on the Cost of Attendance (COA) for the Academic Program enrolled.
A student will have up to 30 working days to request the cancellation of the loan application, once you receive the Award Letter from the FSA Office. If the loan has been credited to your account, you have up to 14 calendar days to request a lower amount or the total cancellation of the loan.
The PRSNA may reduce the amount of the loan requested, cancel or deny it, if it is explained in writing. The decision made by the institution is final and cannot be appealed to the Department of Education.
